Jiashan Tian Ge (Songs of the Field)
发布日期:2009-05-04浏览次数:字号:[ ]

Jiashan Tian Ge ( songs of the field) is a special form of ballads, popular in Hang-Jia-Hu Plain (the Plain of Hangzhou, Jiaxing and Huzhou). It used to be sung by farmers under heavy manual labor to express their feelings and console themselves. It has been handed down orally and enriched by the farmers from generation to generation.  Jiashan Tian Ge has seven different tunes: Di Luo Sheng, Dai Tou Ge, Yang Zao Tou, Hai Luo Yang Ge, Ji Ji Ge, Luo Diao, and Ping Diao. They are independent of each other, but have a general name "Jiashan Tian Ge (songs of the field)", which is known as an outstanding breed of Wu Ge. Ji Ji Ge has quick beats and good expressive force to describe and narrate things. It is also a special tune to check the singer’s eloquence.
